From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible experience at Nkomazi. Our game driver Gerard was not only knowledgeable about the animals and sustainability of the reserve, but he went above and beyond to make our safari unforgettable. The staff at the reserve were so attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was absolutely stunning, with a tranquil view of the river and a luxurious outdoor plunge pool. The food was consistently amazing and the spa treatments were a perfect way to relax after a day of game drives. We can't wait to return to this jaw-dropping destination!

The location of the lodge was stunning, situated by a running river, with beautiful scenic views. The tented camps were well-appointed, with comfortable king-size beds, a walk-in closet, and a quaint shower. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of choices. The game drives were exciting, with sightings of elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes. The staff were friendly and the service was attentive.

Spectacular lodge, exclusive and romantic. Luxury tent with outdoor bath, shower, and private pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic game ranger with great knowledge. Highly recommended for a memorable experience.

excessive room cleaning

I recently stayed at Nkomazi Game Reserve and had an amazing experience. Our guide, Corne, was fantastic and made the game drives even more wonderful. The staff in general went above and beyond, creating a lovely atmosphere. The setting and location of the property are breathtaking, and our room was beautifully decorated and appointed. The staff were warm and helpful, and the hotel's communication before our arrival was incredibly helpful. All our special requests were taken care of with care and pleasure, making us feel special and welcomed.

I strongly recommend this hotel.

The tents at Nkomazi Game Reserve were absolutely amazing! The en suite bathroom with a shower was very convenient, and the outdoor bath and shower added a touch of luxury. The minibar, electronic safe, and air conditioner were useful, and having tea and coffee facilities made mornings even better. the room was cozy and had everything I needed as a solo traveler.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the private bathroom with a bath and shower in each unit. But hey, that's just my opinion and I'm sure others would enjoy it.

Each luxury tent had a private plunge pool, perfect for those breezy days. The shared lounge tent had a large viewing deck, great for spying on animals. I enjoyed bird-watching, fly-fishing, and star-gazing, because who doesn't want to stare at stars in the middle of nowhere?

Sadly, I didn't like that I couldn't stay forever.

We got great value for our money, with excellent accommodation and fantastic game viewing. The location was beautiful, with a diverse landscape and a flowing river. The staff treated us with friendliness and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The hotel breakfast could have been more satisfying, but overall, it was a minor issue compared to the overall experience.
